Democracy truly only works when EVERY CITIZEN is engaged. In this country, underserved communities have routinely been shut out or just ignored when it comes to politics. The Center for Common Ground (a nonpartisan organization) plans to change that through the implementation of Democracy Centers.
Democracy Centers provide permanent, peer-to-peer voter services, education, dialogue and opportunity for participation within the political process at the local, state and federal levels, in partnership with underserved communities. These sites will enable participants to gather, learn about national, state and local policy/politics so they can make educated decisions about their leaders and how to make change on every level.
Come learn how these centers will help ensure EVERY PERSON has the ability to let their voices be heard through equal access to democratic process.CLICK HERE FOR REGISTRATION
